Travel Agent's Story |My 6 weeks holiday part 2: Bangkok

We went to Thailand twice on this trip. In the beginning was to see mom quickly and my girlfriend's wedding.

Day 1 we took mom out for a brunch at Emquartier which is a fancy shopping centre, went back home then to come out to catch up with the girls before the wedding day. I have to say that I'm very fortunate to have great friends who even when we don't talk that often, whenever I see them we all still have a lot of love and care for each other. At the catch up I found out that we meant to have a game at the wedding which I clearly didn't prepare anything.

After our catch up we went to our usual place, Platinum mall to shop what we needed. We come here all the time cus they do wholesale price where when you buy 2-3 items, you will get better prices. Normally we would hackle a little bit when we buy a lot but we were both low in energy so we couldn't be bothered to bargain it down by $2.

For dinner Scott wanted to go to Icon Siam which is a new shopping centre near the river but it was too far to get to so we just ate at Siam Paragon food court. We also stopped at W District near our home to have some drinks to talk about what game can we do for the wedding. This is a very cool place to hang and eat as well.

Day 2 we took mom out to this fusion brunch which their theme is witch craft. The pasta and the pizza were super delish. We then went back home to get ready for the wedding but I bloody lost my credit card and found out that the waiter at the restaurant forgot to give it back to me. I was freaking out cus it was only first week of our travel and how would I get a replacement card when we have to travel around.

Once we got to the wedding, there were rehearsal, ceremony and reception. When I saw my girlfriend Aum in her thai gown, I burst out crying cus she looked so freaking beautiful and I was so happy to be there on her and Justin's special day.

The theme was Game of Throne and this has to be one of the best wedding experience I have ever been to. Everything was so spectacular and so organised. I also got to spend more time with Nong Aing who is my friend's daughter. One thing that I really missed is seeing my friends' kids growing up.

At the reception, it was a buffet street style and we didn't know this but the packed up after 2 hours so got to eat only little. Had to have some late night supper near our house later on.

Day 3 - Our last day in Bangkok.

Our flight to Barcelona was at 8pm so we some time to spend with mom. We took her to this buffet called Wisdom International Buffet which was around $45. I don't normally eat buffet cus I don't eat a lot but I found a video from Facebook which they did a review on the restaurant. There were loads of options and they make the food fresh for you so I was willing to try.

I highly recommend anyone to come and try this place when!!!!

After lunch we got ready for our flight. Our next 2 flights were with Qatar in economy. OMG I just hate the word economy now cus it such a different experience compared to business or first.

The flight was okay but the lay over and time difference were just painful. Going to Europe I'd highly recommend you to fly at least premium economy cus the flight from Australia is at least 24 hour. Save more money to have a more comfortable holiday, trust me I know!

Stay tune for part 3 - Barcelona
